Video and phone counselling is available to clients anywhere within the province of Ontario

Counselling is available for individuals and couples. While most clients are over the age of 18, I also see teens (13+). If you have a teen you are concerned about, please contact me to see if I would be a good fit for your teen.

I use a variety of techniques and seek to match my approach to each client and the concerns they are bringing. Within a client-centred, trauma-informed framework, commonly used theory and methods include Family Systems Theory, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psycho-dynamic/talk therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Relational Life Therapy, Dr. John Gottman's method, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I integrate relaxation techniques such as mindfulness when applicable and am comfortable exploring issues of faith and spirituality and how this relates to our everyday lives if this is helpful. If a referral to another helping professional is necessary, I am more than happy to assist you in making that transition.
